After the Olympic Games in July, August 2024, it's time for the Paralympic sports to take place in France this summer 2024 . The Paralympic Games include 22 sports and 23 disciplines spread over 11 days of competition.
The Paralympic Games ceremony will be held on August 28 in the early evening on the Champs-Elysées for the "public" parade, then on the Place de la Concorde for the so-called "official" parade (ticket required)!
Wheelchair basketball, boccia, cecifoot, wheelchair fencing, goalball, para athletics, para rowing, para badminton, para canoeing, para road cycling, para track cycling, para horsequitation (dressage), para powerlifting, para judo, para swimming, para taekwondo, para table tennis, para archery, para shooting, para triathlon, wheelchair rugby, wheelchair tennis, seated volleyball.
Para athletics events will kick off on August 30, 2024 at the Stade de France, in Saint-Denis, until Saturday, September 7. The disciplines will be: long jump, high jump, javelin throw, discus throw, shot put, club throw.
How do I get to the Stade de France by metro or RER? (please note that there is some walking between the metro, RER and the Stade de France; allow 15 min minimum).
Para badminton takes place at Porte de la Chapelle from August 29 to September 2, 2024 in singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
Para weightlifting competitions will be held at the Adidas Arena from September 4 to 8, 2024. Women's categories 41 kg to +86 kg, Men's categories: 49 kg to +107 kg.
The new Arena is located in the 18th arrondissement north of Paris, easily accessible by public transport (metro line 12 or Tram T3b).
The Paralympic seated volleyball events will be held at the Villepinte exhibition center, known during the games as the "Arena Paris Nord". Matches will take place every day from August 29 to September 7, 2024.

This para-cycling road event will be held from September 4 to 7, 2024 in Clichy sous bois. It includes the individual time trial, road race and mixed team relay. The route will be posted online as soon as possible.
