Recumbent statue of Philippe († 1397), son of the count of Alençon, in the Saint-Denis Basilica.
The recumbent effigy of the son of the count of Alençon is a copy of the twelfth century one in Royaumont Abbey. The original is located in the National Museum of the Middle Ages. At the foot of the lying recumbent are depicted two characters reading. A dog with a rabbit in its mouth lies at the foot of the funerary statue of Philip.
