There used to be three churches in Bobigny. They were all destroyed. Saint-André church was constructed by the architect Marius Depont, who also designed the town hall in the 1980s. The contemporary architecture of this religious building mixes wood and concrete. One outstanding feature is its bell tower in the shape of a spire. Some items from that period were saved: a statue of Saint-Fiacre, patron of farmers (the history of Bobigny had been strongly marked by its farming activities), dating from the nineteenth century, a statue of Saint-André and a marble baptismal font also dating from the eighteen century. The cult of Saint-André in Bobigny dates from the eight century.
