Outdoor guided tour of the Cité de la Muette and guided tour of the Drancy Shoah Memorial

Visit the Shoah Memorial in Drancy, opened in 2013, a true place of history, remembrance and education. With your guide and the help of video testimonies, archive documents and period photographs, you'll retrace the history of the Drancy camp, the daily life of internees, the organization of deportations from 1941 to 1944, and the construction of the camp's post-war memory. Then, crossing the street, you'll enter the heart of the Cité de la Muette, which became an internment camp in 1941 and a regrouping camp for French Jews in 1942, with a view to their deportation to the extermination camps. The witness wagon at the entrance to the Cité is the most precious testimony to this.
