The Mulinghausen pool is located in the Floréal sports center in Les Lilas (93). This sunflower pool is one of the few open pools in Seine-Saint-Denis.
This type of pool, with its distinctive architecture, is known as a Tournesol. This openable, saucer-shaped structure is the result of a national construction program in the late 70s and early 80s. Of the 183 Tournesol pools built in France, two are in Seine-Saint-Denis: the Piscine des Lilas and the Piscine Tournesol de Bondy, both built in 1975.
The Lilas pool has a large 25-meter pool under a huge dome that can be opened in summer.
Bathing caps and swimsuits must be worn (no shorts or Bermuda shorts). Children must be accompanied by an adult.
