Ten days before the French National Day, celebrate the 4th of July in Seine-Saint-Denis, north-east Paris.
Visit the Air and Space Museum in Le Bourget where Charles Lindbergh landed at the end of his single-handed North Atlantic crossing. On the 4th of July, do not miss the American war planes in the 39-45 years hall (Second World War). Visit also the other halls of the Museum and discover the important role of the United States in the history of aviation and space conquest. The museum is closed on monday, visit it for free on sunday and tuesday.
Take advantage of this 4th July to visit the Saint-Ouen flea market. You will find shops specialized in vintage American military equipment.
