The wine cellar barge La Bougeotte arrived at the Bassin de La Villette for the first time in December 2019, to join the barges in the 19th district of Paris. After a year's work, La Bougeotte had spent its first summer in Dijon.
The barge La Bougeotte offers a very original concept. This wine-cellar barge criss-crosses the wine-growing regions via the rivers to select the wines of independent winegrowers that will be on its menu. Its route allows it to collect wines from Centre Loire, Bourgogne, Champagne, Jura, Beaujolais... most of them organic, biodynamic and natural. The barge moored in Dijon and then in Paris to taste the harvested wines.
Beyond the originality of the proposal, La Bougeotte ains to promote river transport and eco-responsible and social trade.
The barge is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm to midnight. It offers a small restaurant and entertainment: concerts, meetings with winegrowers, brunches, book launches...
