Cité du Cinema Luc Besson is located just beyond the ring road at 20 Ampère road in Saint Denis. (93200). The venue is clearly signposted and easily accessible. It is conveniently situated at a walking distance from the public transport and is also easily accessible by car. Whatever the mode of transport, visitors will need to cover moderate distances from the metro station Carrefour Pleyel station or RER and car parks to the venue and within it. It is advised to make adequate arrangement for people requiring mobility assistance. All entrances are guarded by trained stewards and accredited security; please contact them to enter the site.
The Cité du Cinema is less than ten minutes’ walk from the Carrefour Pleyel station on subway line 13. Take the subway exit boulevard Anatole France, go a hundred yards to the crossroads and turn left onto the path –Allée de Seine – and continue your way on Allée de Seine and turn left onto Ampere road. The nearest main entrance of the Cité du Cinema will be approximately 260 meters on your right.
The venue is also serviced by the RER D at the station Stade de France-Saint-Denis. The easiest way from there is by bus. Bus stops are within close proximity of the RER station. Take the bus 139-direction-Saint Ouen RER-, get off the bus at St Nicolau road stop, it will take the bus twenty minutes to reach there. From the bus stop, go up to Saint Denis road and the Cité du cinema will be a few minutes’ walk away.
Driving to the film city via the motorway A1 or A86, you can plan your route with the road planner. The A1 motorway connects you to the -exit 2-Saint-Denis-La-Plaine-Saint Denis town center or the A86 motorway connects you to the -exit 8a- to Saint-Ouen-Paris Porte de Clignancourt and Saint Denis Pleyel.
The access via the ring road connects you to the exit D14 towards A16/A15 to Cergy-Pontoise to Porte de Clignancourt, via the D20, 500 meters on your left. Turn right on Boulevard Anatole France and take the first road on the left onto Marcel Cachin road. It will take you directly to the Saint Denis road, approximately ten meters from the venue.
All visitors who plan to visit the venue may park in the first-come space available in the venue parking lot close to the security desk. Visitors on events day can also park their car around the surrounding streets. Park your car in St Ouen - 12 minutes walk away.
Please note that the venue is not open to the public but there is controlled access offered to visitors with tickets for exhibitions taking place in the Cité du Cinema.
