Organized by the Institut National des Métiers d'Art, the Journées européennes des métiers d'art (JEMA) aims to promote know-how, art and craft trades, and encourage vocations throughout Europe and France.
The 2026 edition of the Journées européennes des métiers d'art is dedicated to the theme of "Hearts at Work". This year's event gives everyone - amateurs, consumers and craftspeople alike - the chance to take part in this living heritage, and become involved in its perpetuation and renewal.
One region - One country! Each edition is an opportunity to celebrate the region's roots, and to discover a region and its crafts. This year's featured region will be announced shortly.
The public at large will have the opportunity to discover the various arts and crafts all over France, thanks to the exceptional openings of artists' studios.
Discover a selection of visits, walks and workshops organized as part of JEMA in the Paris region. The full 2026 program of workshops to be visited as part of the Journées des métiers d'art is not listed, so feel free to consult the official website of JEMA and the towns of Seine-Saint-Denis.
