The Pailleron sports area - Paris 19 is located near the Buttes Chaumont. It offers access to a large 800 m2 ice rink under a beautiful glass roof with regular events (Halloween, Valentine's Day, etc. announced via their Facebook account). Ask about the animations to come in the right outfit because there is sometimes a "dress-code" to skate in music and under the lights. It's a nice moment to spend during school holidays with friends or family.
If you don't like to skate but would like to accompany, you can stay in the stands and watch your family, your friends and the skaters!
You can bring your own skates or rent them on the spot. Helmets are strongly recommended but not compulsory, unlike gloves which you absolutely must wear (remember to bring them with you).
Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult and must be supervised at all times.
Bring a token or a coin to put your belongings in a locker.
Children from the age of 3 can go on the track.
You can rent at the entrance skates called "artistic" or "hockey" size children to adults men for the modest sum.
The Pailleron skating rink is open every day and adapts its opening hours according to the periods outside school, weekends and holiday periods.
On Sunday mornings and every morning during the holidays: families with children up to the age of 6 (from 10am to 12pm) can enjoy a fun run on the ice with the help of instructors if necessary.
During the week the rink is often open from noon and sometimes until 10pm and midnight during the holidays.
The Pailleron ice rink is closed in July and August of each year.
Opening hours on public holidays: 9am - 6pm
The entire site is closed on December 25th and January 1st.
The Espace Pailleron is a site dedicated to sport with an ice rink on one side, a swimming pool on the other (swimming caps are compulsory, no shorts, restaurant dedicated to the aquatic area), a place for fitness and wellness.
