La Galerie is a Contemporary art centre created in 1999 and located in a converted notary’s house in Noisy-le-sec. It increases the awareness of the general public about contemporary creation.
June 2021: The Gallery receives the label "Center of contemporary art of national interest" by the Ministry of Culture. It is in fact the first art center to receive this label in Seine-Saint-Denis and North-East of Paris.
La Galerie features four exhibitions per year of French and International well-known or emerging artists. There are foreign curators and artists in residence. A bilingual paper is published for each exhibition.
In connection with each exhibition, La Galerie proposes workshops for children, conferences, encounters or artistic performances for others. All activities and exhibitions are free of charge.
