Straddled over the regions of Seine-Saint-Denis and Val d'Oise, the park Butte Pinson stretches out over four communes: Villetaneuse, Pierrefitte-sur-Seine (93), Montmagny and Groslay (95). Overlooking the Paris basin, Butte Pinson covers over 114 hectares of green landscape. Ramblers, runners and cyclists appreciate its paths and trails.
After renovation works the park reopened in 2018 and offers a playground for children, a large meadow, walking paths ... In 2020 opening of the Belvedere and other zones including a garden of waterfalls and a pond in the southern part of the park.
A protected biodiversity
A former vacation spot, Butte Pinson has received the label "ecological green space", thus guaranteeing an ethical and ecological management of the site so that it complies with sustainable development principles.
Thus many plants and associated fauna, notably pollinating insects, honeybees, butterflies, beetles are preserved within the park.
La Butte Pinson is crossed by various paths and a hiking trail for the race (GR 10). Since 2012, the "Ruban vert" links the Parc de Villetaneuse and rue de Pierrefitte, to Montmagny. You can also follow the "Utrillo" route: 15 panels of the works by this painter have been set up on this route in the heart of the park.
A few vines still remain around Groslay, plots of gardens are shared near the ru d'Arra (towards Montmagny).
