Vinie Graffiti is originally from Toulouse. Her colorful hip-hop pin-ups have been adorning the walls of Paris, its suburbs and especially in Seine-Saint-Denis since 2007. This graffiti artist has made an international reputation for herself and participates in numerous urban art festivals and collective projects.
Her works blend into the environment with, for example, the use of vegetation as the hair of her character. She often uses lettering for the curls of her hair. Vinie started graffiti with lettering and then turned to figurative art with her immediately recognizable characters.
The street artist carries out commissions, works in collaboration with other artists and exhibits in galleries in France and abroad. She also creates sculptures.
Her fresco in Romainville, allée des cerisiers, is ranked 9th in the top 10 most beautiful French street art frescoes of the Golden Street Art 2023. Vinie realized this work with the youth of the Cachin center.
