The Vallerey pool opened its doors in 1924 and has been renovated in 1989 and in 2018.
Works Paris 2024 - Olympic Games - water sports-, the Vallerey swimming pool is closed for works until the end of 2023.
The work that will be carried out for the opening in late 2023, early 2024: Reinforcement of accessibility for people with reduced mobility, with an accessible path from the entrance to the pool. The reception area will also be made universally accessible with a reception desk adapted for people with reduced mobility and the creation of a room for guide dogs at the entrance to the pool.

The pool is open all year long. The 50 meter basin is made of two 25 meter lines and of 37.5 meters + 12 meters.
Activities are organized all year long to celebrate public holidays.
The pool can also host competitions.
With beautiful days coming, the roof of the pool can be opened. Indeed, this “dome” allowing you to gaze at the sky is opened when the weather is nice. You can swim in the heart of Paris open sky. It is the first pool having a 50 meter basin and a sunroof.
This building especially created for the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris was first named “stade nautique des Tourelles”. The pool was renamed Georges-Vallerey after its renovation in 1989.
After the renovation, the Georges Vallerey pool will host the Gay Games this summer in 2018 but also the Olympic Games in 2024.
