Georges Vallerey pool - Paris

The Vallerey pool opened its doors in 1924 and has been renovated in 1989 and from 2017 to May 2018 (re-opening in June 2018).

The pool is open all year long. The 50 meter basin is made of two 25 meter lines and of 37.5 meters + 12 meters.

Activities are organized all year long to celebrate public holidays.

The pool can also host competitions.

Pool with sunroof

With beautiful days coming, the roof of the pool can be opened. Indeed, this “dome” allowing you to gaze at the sky is opened when the weather is nice. You can swim in the heart of Paris open sky. It is the first pool having a 50 meter basin and a sunroof.

From 1924 to 2014: hosting place for the Olympics Games in Paris

This building especially created for the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris was first named “stade nautique des Tourelles”. The pool was renamed Georges-Vallerey after its renovation in 1989.

After the renovation, the Georges Vallerey pool will host the Gay Games this summer in 2018 but also the Olympic Games in 2024.
