The Laboratoires d'Aubervilliers, a research and creation venue, of production and experimentation locarted in the town of Aubervilliers, invent each day systems touching every aspect of art (visual art, dance, performance, theater, literature, etc.), and consider artistic practices as a training procedure, a sharing experience, to question out approach and our artistic conceptions.

Installed in the area Quatre-chemins Aubervilliers in an old factory since 1993, they develop and support activities around artistic projects, training for professionals and amateurs, through shows, exhibitions, and show all forms of the artists work who are in residence.

The Laboratoires are made up of three spaces, the first to welcome the public and to organize exhibitions or meetings, the two other spaces, multipurpose, to put on shows or exhibitions.

Research and and experimentation are at the heart of artistic projects hence the name "Les Laboratoires d'Aubervilliers", with the determination to reach out to the town and its inhabitants, to create encounters and to promote exchanges.

Another cultural place not to be missed in Aubervilliers, Theater de la Commune offers a very rich and varied programme. During the summer season, Les Laboratoires are transformed into an outdoor theater.
