Ox studied fine arts in Paris and was co-founder in 1984 of the crew collective group “des Frères Ripoulin” – the Ripoulin brothers with Jean Faucheur and eight other artists including Claude Closky and Pierre Huygues. From fanzine to posters, Ox once specialized in revisiting advertising posters.
Discovering Keith Haring had a great impact on him and transformed his way of working. His contextual collages, sometimes satiric, sometimes decorative, take into account the places where they are made. Recently, the artist takes commercial imagery sources and reworks it in his workshop. Ox lives and works in Bagnolet, an important street art territory near Paris center.
