Every year, museums and scientific organizations open their doors to astronomy enthusiasts on Starry Night. Whether you're a professional or a novice, come and observe the stars during these 3 nights from August 1 to 3, 2025.

2025 theme: Oceans in the sky

Starry Night 2025 at the Musée de l'Air

It's a date with space not to be missed: night-time observations and free events at the Musée de l'Air are on the program in the planetarium and in the open air.

Do you know the space hall and the rockets on display? Come and observe the stars with your telescope and naked eye on the tarmac of the Musee de l'air et de l'espace: the Big Dipper and Little Dipper constellations, and the summer night triangle, which serves as a starting point for finding the other stars.

Opening of the Musée de l'air on August 2, 2025, for Starry Night. Below is the 2022 program, pending new times and themes:

  • 10:30 pm-1:30 am: Telescope and telescope observations of the sky from the museum tarmac to see Jupiter and Saturn, and depending on the weather (year 2022).
  • 11 p.m., 0 a.m., 0.30 a.m., 1 a.m. - year 2022 - Observation of the sky with the naked eye with a mediator (duration 15 min.)

Other events are planned for adults, teenagers and children: see the official website for the full 2025 program. As part of this event, the Musée de l'air et de l'espace will exceptionally close its doors at 1.30 am. Activities are open to children aged 6 and over.

Please note: you may not bring your own telescopes or astronomical equipment into the museum.
