Points of interest : Sevran : Parc de la Poudrerie, wheat fields. Villepinte : Godier farm, Château Rouge, the former sanatorium, the pet cemetery. Tremblay : family gardens, le Sausset, ponds and marshes, Parc du Château Bleu, Saint Médard church, the former tithe barn.
From Vert Galant station, go under the train tracks on to the footbridge over the canal. You will arrive at the bike path in direction of Sevran. Go into the forest Park at Vert Galant and follow the bike path to Porte de Sevran (1,5km). Take the exit on the right, cross the canal and go through the tunnel under the railway. Continue opposite to the small fountain and then turn right in direction of the "Interior Climbing wall " until the exit at Porte de Sevran village.
Opposite, take avenue du Général de Gaulle. At the end of the avenue, turn right, onto Chemin du Marais du Souci, and then turn left onto Rue du Souci. After the wheat fields take Rue Paul Lafarge and then avenue Roger Salengro. At the roundabout turn left Rue de la Ville Neuve and then first right on to avenue Jules Ferry. Cross the D115 and continue straight on in direction of Vieux Pays.
After the bridge over the autoroute A104, turn left onto Boulevard Daniel Casanova (direction La Haie Bertrand). After « La Ferme Godier » turn right onto rue Henri Barbusse. At the town hall roundabout, (enjoy the view of Château rouge) take the 2e exit, rue de l’Eglise (direction Les Mousseaux) then turn left, route de Tremblay. You will come across the pet cemetery at n°18 on this road. Continue straight on for 2 km until the vieux Pays de Tremblay.
50 metres before the traffic lights, take the cycle path on the left at allée Moulin Maheux. Go to the end of the track. Take a look at the view of the park Château Bleu and its ponds. Continue your ride via Chemin de la Pissotte on the right, cut through Route de Roissy and take Rue de la Mairie towards the church St Médard and the tithe Barn « Grange aux Dimes ». Follow down to rue de la Mairie, rue Gosse then turn right onto rue du Chemin Vert. Then take first right (rue de la Ferme) and then first left (rue Louis Eschard).
Back at the traffic lights, turn left, take the bike path in direction of Mitry-Mory. At the end of the path, cross route des Petits Ponts and take avenue Henri Barbusse opposite La patte d’oie. Turn left onto avenue du Bois. At the end, turn left, rue des Ecoles. At the roundabout, turn right onto avenue Louis Dequet and continue until you reach the tunnel to get to the cycle path once again, cross Canal de l’Ourcq and the cycle track on the Ourcq. You will arrive at Vert Galant train station by turning right onto boulevard Charles.
