Fred le Chevalier

The characters of Fred le Chevalier stuck all over north-east of Paris, and especially in Belleville, Ménilmontant, Montmartre and Pantin, are immediately recognizable at first glance.

The collages Fred Le Chevalier are poetic and personal. He gets his emotions, dreams and nightmares to elaborate them. These childish characters in black and white with touches of colour – often in red, representing love, the subject which he is keen on – are inspired from mythology and tales. Fred Le Chevalier also loves words and proposes drawings like small letters with punchlines bursting in humanity.
