French gastronomy La Villette

Pavillon Villette hosts a free exhibition on French gastronomy to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the registration of "the French meal" on the non material heritage by UNESCO.

Participate in a celebration meal and discover table secrets from tasting to etiquette. Scientists, chefs and artists have created together fun and instructive ways to introduce you to the gastronomy and its codes.

The exhibition proposes 3 themes:

• L’entrée en matière defines what is a meal, a celebration meal, a gastronomic meal and gastronomy in general.
• La table dans tous ses états : 2 large festive tables are set for 30 guests.
•  Les souvenirs gourmands : gourmet memories.

You will also discover the "Grandmas project" around recipes handed down to generations with 4 short movies.

Free exhibition open on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
