Attend a virtual concert by Chinese pianist Yuja Wang thanks to the Playing with fire installation in the Cité de la Musique exhibition space in Paris.
This immersive experience offers a dialogue between sound and image, creating an augmented musical performance in which the pianist's gestures are translated visually and the music is made visible.
Wearing a virtual headset, experience Yuja Wang's recital up close and personal, to see the intensity of her performance and her virtuosity. At the heart of the stage, a Steinway Spirio piano creates a bridge between the concert hall and the artist's emotions.
Yuja Wang's chosen repertoire explores the theme of fire, from Bach to Prokofiev.
This installation was created by Pierre-Alain Giraud (winner of the Best Immersive Work Award at Cannes 2024) in collaboration with Icelandic visual artist Gabríela Friðriksdóttir, with whom he produced Björk's Victimhood video.
