Small steps on the moon at the Air and Space Museum

Date From to
Petits pas sur la lune au Musée l'air et espace

Petits pas sur la Lune is a fun, sensory exhibition specially designed for children aged 2 to 6.

On display in the Grande Galerie of the Musee du Bourget until May 31, 2026, the Petits pas sur la Lune exhibition lets children discover the world of Space... at their own level, as a family. Four main areas await them:

  • Earth by day
  • Earth - by night
  • The Moon
  • Space

Thanks to interactive games, children can look at the stars through a telescope, climb into a rocket, assemble the planets of the solar system, build a cabin on the Moon and discover the life of astronauts.

  • A free-play area with Playmobil, a drawing corner and a reading corner keep children entertained.
  • A poetic work by artist Caroline Corbasson shows a sky full of meteors.
  • A small video lounge in the Hall de l'Espace shows short films on the space universe.

In addition, discover real objects from space, such as astronauts' suits, objects taken by Thomas Pesquet and Claudie Haigneré (the first French women in space), as well as pieces of lunar meteorites (on loan from the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle).
