Le 19M is offering a free exhibition focusing on the dialogue between Japanese and French craftsmen and designers. Entitled Beyond Our Horizons, the exhibition will take place in the Galerie du 19M in Paris/Aubervilliers, from January 29 to April 26, 2026.
The exhibition has its origins in a first edition organized in autumn 2025 in Tokyo, where Galerie du 19M took over the 52nd floor of the Mori Tower to offer a unique immersion in the world of Métiers d'art. It was in this exceptional setting that Beyond Our Horizons (Horizons partagés) was unveiled for the first time, an exhibition highlighting the creative dialogue between the Japanese and French art scenes.
Following its success in Japan, where it welcomed almost 75,000 visitors, the exhibition returns to France in a redesigned and enriched version. It offers the French public the opportunity to discover never-before-seen works, some of them the result of collaborations between Japanese craftsmen and 19M's resident French art houses. An artistic experience that perpetuates the ambition to celebrate the encounter between two cultures, where traditional know-how and innovation meet.
