Beyond the streets, the legends of graffiti and street art in Paris

From May 27 to August 30, 2026, the Grande Halle de La Villette will be hosting the phenomenal exhibition Beyond the Streets, Legends of Graffiti and Street Art in Paris, following on from Los Angeles, New York, Shanghai and London.

The exhibition tells the story of how this underground movement moved from subway trains to museum walls, invaded cities and imposed its language, fashion, music and activism on a global scale.

For this Paris edition, part of the exhibition focuses on the Paris graffiti scene, which has played a major role in the movement's history, presenting works by a dozen French artists.

The Beyond the streets exhibition features never-before-seen and historic street artworks, rare archival documents, avant-garde fashion pieces and immersive installations. Many of the works and installations have been created especially for this Paris edition.
