The Parc de La Villette welcomes giant inflatable plastic or textile works made by international artists: monkey, octopus, flowers, robot, boat... These giants will surprise you at the bend of an alley of the Parc de la Villette.
Inflatable art is back in 2022 at La Villette: the Pop Air exhibition and its giant inflatable works are waiting for you in the Great Hall! An outdoor tour is proposed this summer with the festival Paris l'été.

Inflatable structures are increasingly used by contemporary artists: Koontz, Nikki de Saint-Phalle, Yayoi Kusama and many others have used these easily transportable structures.
In 2022 you can discover new inflatable works.
Rediscover the works exhibited in 2015:
Stefan Sagmeister (USA) exhibited his 10m high monkeys Everybody Always Thinks They Are Right.
Choi Jeong Hwa (South Korea), proposed 3 works, of 8 and 7m, around nature and robots: White Lotus, Fruit Tree and About being irritated.
The company Les plasticiens volants (France), presented its Giant Octopus which is not less than 8 m by 8 m on the ground and 8 m high and whose tentacles extend on 10m on each side!
Johan Muyle (Belgium) had an unusual inflatable ship of 10 m length and 5.4 m height beached on the lawns of La Villette.
