St Christopher Paris Youth Hostel is located at the Bassin de la Villette in Paris. Numerous bars and restaurants along the canal make it an increasingly popular place to go out in Paris. In summer, take advantage of the many activities organized at the Bassin de La Villette as part of Paris Plages.
St Christopher's Paris Hostel is located on the corner of Quai de la Seine and Rue de Crimée, at the end of the Bassin de la Villette. With a capacity of 275 beds, it offers mainly dormitory accommodation from 4 to 8 beds with USB ports, power sockets and privacy curtains. Shared bathrooms with shower and toilet. A few private rooms, including family rooms, are also available.
The Bassin de La Villette youth hostel offers free Wi-Fi, a terrace overlooking the canal and a shared lounge with a computer. Access to the Belushi bar-restaurant. 24-hour reception. Luggage storage and safety deposit box.
The hostel is housed in a building designed by the famous architects Chaix et Morel, responsible for such projects as the Zenith in Paris and the renovation of the Petit Palais. The building replaces one of the two warehouses of the Magasins Généraux du Bassin de la Villette, destroyed by fire in 1990. It is thus a contemporary reflection of its twin, located just across the rue de Crimée lift. Its east wing houses the Holiday Inn Express Paris La Villette hotel, while the Saint Christopher Paris youth hostel is located in the west wing.
