Erwin Wurm, Tomorrow: Yes

Erwin Wurm, Tomorrow: Yes

Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac Paris Pantin hosts Erwin Wurm's Tomorrow: Yes exhibition in 2026.

Erwin Wurm's sculptures play with the boundaries between abstraction and reality. By transforming everyday objects into offbeat, provocative works, the artist interrogates our trivial choices and existential questions, revealing how these elements shape our identity and our relationship to the world.

The Austrian artist has already been exhibited at the gallery in group shows - such as Déjeuner sur l'herbe and 30 years in Paris - and in a solo show in 2013.

Erwin Wurm, born in Bruck an der Mur in 1954, lives and works between Vienna and Limberg. He made a name for himself in the early 1990s with his One-Minute-Sculptures, in which his models, posed with everyday objects, held the pose for a minute, becoming sculptures for the space of a moment.

His museum exhibitions include those at the Dallas Contemporary in Texas, the Centro de arte contemporáneo in Malaga, the Vitra Museum in Weil and the Albertina Museum in Vienna. Further solo exhibitions are scheduled at the Mocak in Krakow (October 2013), the Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie in Karlsruhe and the Städelmuseum in Frankfurt (2014).
