The revival of the center of Aubervilliers will benefit from new transport facilities to come with the extension of Line 12 of the Paris metro to the town hall.
Close to Mairie d'Aubervilliers there is the church Notre Dame des Vertus, the National Theater de la Commune and three large basins in the Marlène Peratou swimming pool which is located on rue Edouard Poisson, less than 5minutes from the town hall.
The town center of Aubervilliers is located near Pantin and la Plaine Saint-Denis. Canal Saint-Denis, Parc du Millénaire, Rosa Parks district, The station Gare des Mines and the campus Condorcet are located in the vicinity.
Two new metro stations under construction will emerge in 2019: Aimé Césaire and Mairie d'Aubervilliers, which will be the new terminus for line 12. Construction site visits can be organized.
