This bike itinerary path (easy level) starts at Vert Galant RER station in the town of Villepinte,in the north-east region of Paris. Take the bike path at Ourcq canal and cycle alongside the Sausset park.

From Vert Galant station, take the path under the tracks and go onto the bridge over canal de l'Ourcq. take the bike path in direction of Sevran. Go into the Poudrerie forest park Porte de Vert Galant and follow the bicycle track to Porte de Sevran (1,5km). Take the exit on the right, cross the canal and go into the tunnel under the railway tracks. Continue right down to the small fountain and then turn right in direction of "Mur d’escalade – Halle couverte" until the exit Porte de Sevran Village.
Cross the street to avenue du Général de Gaulle. At the end of the road, turn right onto Chemin du Marais du Souci, then turn first left Rue du Souci. Cycle alongside the wheat fields at Rue Paul Lafarge and then avenue Roger Salengro. At the roundabout turn left onto Rue de la Ville Neuve and then first right onto avenue Jules Ferry. Cross D115 and continue straight on in the direction of Vieux Pays.
After the bridge over the highway A104, turn left onto Boulevard Daniel Casanova (direction La Haie Bertrand). After 1 kilometer, turn left in direction of Parc Départemental du Sausset. The entrance of the park is 200 metres further up, just after the roundabout (via the Bocage entrance). You can relax and enjoy the park, its fauna and flora, its 200 hectares of forest, meadows, prairies, wooded countryside, marshes and swamps. Count for about one hour and a half to get around the park.
To return, retrace your steps up to Boulevard Daniel Casanova and follow the direction to La Haie Bertrand - Godier Farm. After Godier farm turn right onto rue Henri Barbusse, direction Hotel de Ville - Église Notre-Dame. At the Town Hall roundabout, (you will notice the red castle "Château Rouge", former sanatorium, which was the first in France) continue straight on rue de l’Église then turn second right onto avenue du Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny. Continue straight ahead for 3 kilometers to the RER station Gare du Vert Galant via avenue Emile Dambel, avenue de la République and avenue du Général Delestraint.
