Rosny-Rail is a regional railway discovery center. This train museum, located in the basement of the Rosny train station, features a250-square-meter exhibition space (meet at the ground level of the Quai at Rosny-sous-Bois Station).
Its collection consists of authentic vintage artifacts and scale models representing railways from the late 19th century to the present day. On site, a train-driving simulator allows visitors to control a train on a miniature rail network.
Upon entering the Regional Railroad Museum, visitors are immersed in the atmosphere of train stations from the early 20th century. Here, visitors can explore typical artifacts, vintage posters and documents, a miniature layout (operated by the public), scale models, explanatory displays and videos, as well as the signal box originally installed on the Paris?Clermont-Ferrand line, which was dismantled and reassembled within the museum?s premises...
The Rosny-Rail Museum is open only on Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., provided volunteers are available. Please contact the museum at 07 82 84 87 76 or 01 41 60 44 74 to find out the opening dates.
