La Briche, a self-managed artists center, has been organizing La Briche Foraine since 2012. It is the opportunity to meet those who created this unusual place. For this 5th edition, the brichous and brichecards will set up close to Canal Saint-Denis, right next to the Stade de France. For this surprise party, La Briche has concocted a rich and varied program: attractions, activities for all, shows, concerts, guinguettes, food tasting, bal masqué (masked ball), etc.
Briche Foraine 2015 brought together several associations in Saint-Denis. They shared their expertise, savoir-faire and enthusiasm to propose ephemeral guinguettes along the banks of Canal de L’Ourcq, and thus created lively convivial spaces, where the inhabitants of Saint Denis, visitors, ramblers could meet, talk and debate. The opportunity for those living alongside the canal Saint-Denis to consider alternatives and to set up participatory projects to become the real masters of their living environment…
