The Badminton World Championships are the sport's most prestigious event. They bring together the world's best male and female players, who compete for the title of world champion. In 2025, these championships will be held in the venue that hosted badminton at the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, as well as the Yonex IFB 2024 : the Adidas Arena Paris.
The BWF organizes international tournaments, Olympic Games, World Championships, international individual tournaments (Internationaux de France de Badminton), national team competitions (Thomas Cup, Uber Cup, Sudirman Cup).
