Le Studio in Aubervilliers is a municipal cinema classified as "Art et Essai", but also "Recherche"; it is open from Wednesday to Sunday (closed during the summer). Comprising one auditorium, the Studio shows 3 to 4 films a week (French and foreign newsreels, repertory films) for all audiences: adults and young people.
The Studio is also a venue for regular events, meetings and debates with film directors, actors and technicians (ciné-débat, ciné-rencontre, etc.).
It is located in the same building as the Théâtre de la Commune d'Aubervilliers, except that the entrance to the cinema is on the opposite side from the Avenue de la République.
