The cinema was built in 1934 by the Perolino brothers, originally from the Aosta Valley. The site, which has been awarded the "patrimoine d'intérêt régional" label, is both remarkable for its architecture, a tribute to Italian-style theaters, and for its memorial value. In fact, it's a testimony to the "Little Italies" recreated in the Paris region by Italian immigrants between the wars.
