For two weeks, CAMPING offers a rich, free program of contemporary dance events, including courses, workshops, lectures, film screenings, professional encounters, public presentations and performances.
CAMPING is aimed at all those involved in dance: students, teachers, performers, choreographers and researchers, as well as a wider audience of amateurs and spectators. This extraordinary event bridges the gap between higher education, the professional world and the general public. The festival takes place at the CND in Pantin, Paris and Lyon.
Camping features performances in partnership with Les rencontres chorégraphiques en Seine-Saint-Denis, performances, dance classes for all, lectures, films and more.
CAMPING is an opportunity to understand the creative process, and to exchange and share practices and techniques. Workshops take place in several venues: the Halle aux cuirs in La Villette, the Théâtre du fil de l'eau, the Conservatoire and La Dynamo in Pantin, and La Commune and Les Laboratoires in Aubervilliers. At the end of the workshops, some of them will present the results of their work to the public.
The workshops will be led by the following choreographers: Hortense Belhôte, Jonathan Capdevielle & Guillaume Marie, Rébecca Chaillon, Pierre Godard & Liz Santoro, Wen Hui, Kubra Khademi, Latifa Laâbissi, Josépha Madoki, Simon Mayer, Pierre-Benjamin Nantel, Calixto Neto, Julie Nioche & Lex Frattini, Manon Santkin, Jonas Chéreau, Katerina Andreou, Emma Bigé, Hélène Giannecchini, Marcela Santander, Alice Davazoglou, Manon Carpentier, Mickaël Phelippeau, Faye Driscoll, Marie Goudot with Sophia Dinkel, La Ribot with Lisa Laurent, Saïdo Lehlouh, Agniete Lisickinaite, Hendrickx Ntela, Hana Sakai & Yasutake Shimaji.
