The town center of Montreuil makes up 3 districts : Solidarité - Carnot, town center and Jean Moulin - Beaumonts.
The Montreuil town centre, around Mairie de Montreuil and last stop on the metro line 9, has recently been renovated. It now boasts a mall (shopping center), the cinema Le Méliès and the theater le Nouveau Théâtre de Montreuil. The Parc des Beaumonts offers a green interlude with its natural paths, its varied fauna and flora. Many artists’ workshops, which can be visited during open house days, are located in this part of Montreuil.

The centre of Mairie de Montreuil is served by several bus lines and the metro line 9. This line crosses Paris from East to west and provides access to some major monuments in the centre of Paris.

Montreuil town centre has been renovated. It is now home to cinema Le Méliès and le Nouveau Théâtre de Montreuil, as well as the shopping mall.
A pedestrian street, rue du Capitaine Dreyfus, links the town hall square to Croix de Chavaux. The area has many bars, restaurants, mini-marts, grocery stores and also some designer boutiques. The work of art exhibited at the entrance to rue du Capitaine Dreyfus as part of "Pignon sur rue" is regularly modified (see photo on the left: work of art by Isabelle Cochereau © Gilles Delbos). Another pedestrian street- rue de l'Église, also counts for some shops and restaurants and leads to the church Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul.
Visitors will also find several craft-brewers and local beer boutiques in Montreuil. Some of these breweries can be visited.
The Ice Cream truck Martinez, that settled in summer in the Town Hall Square ‘place de la Mairie’ and place Jacques Duclos, is genuine craftsmanship from Montreuil.
Parc des Beaumonts offers beautiful views of Montreuil and Paris. A genuine oxygen lung, where a varied fauna and flora can be observed. It has natural spaces, walking paths and lovely small clearings to relax.
