Children will be able to discover in an interactive and amusing way, the Basilica-Cathedral of St Denis, its architecture, its magnificent stained glass windows, the strange recumbent tombs of the kings and queens of France (King Dagobert, Berthe broadfoot, Louis VI the Fat, the great François I, Catherine of Médicis, Marie-Antoinette, etc.). They will also discover the history of this place through the stories, tales and legends linked with the ancient abbey of Saint-Denis.

After the visit of the Basilica, join the workshop to make a plaster sculpture of Saint Louis which will be painted after.

The visit and workshop start at 3:00 p.m.

(During the workshop visit, adults can, either accompany the children or else follow the guided tour at 3pm – fee-paying).

Workshop-visit for children and visits for adults are fee-paying. Direct booking or click on the link below to book. Free for teachers in possession of the Education Pass and for job seekers. Numbers of participants are limited to 15 children (adults not included).
