Les illusions retrouvées, Biennale Némo

Date From to
Les illusions retrouvées, Biennale Némo

For each edition of the Nemo Biennial, Le Centquatre hosts a digital arts exhibition, the main exhibition of the Nemo Biennial, which includes a vast program of shows, concerts, exhibitions, conferences, etc. in 40 cultural venues across the Île-de-France region.

The Némo Biennial is an event that examines and promotes artistic creation "in the digital age" through a series of events in the Paris Region over a three-month period.

Following on from Troublemakers, Prosopopées, Les Faits du hasard, Jusqu'ici tout va bien, Au delà du réel and Je est un autre? this sixth edition, again at Le Centquatre, questions new utopias in the digital age with Les Illusions retrouvées.

In the various spaces of Le Centquatre-Paris, explore works that blur the boundaries between reality and imagination: singing paintings, voices transformed into landscapes, image-generating plants, or fictions blending past and future. Each creation explores our link to the living, to technology and to the imaginary, revealing hybrid worlds where nature, humans and machines cohabit. Between nostalgia and innovation, these digital utopias reinvent our reality.

With the artists: Donatien Aubert, Anne Bourassé and Mounir Ayache, Tatsuru Arai, Christian Delécluse, Caroline Delétoille, Aurore Young and Céline Boisserie-Lacroix, Bruce Eesly, Thomas Garnier, Riccardo Giovinetto, Libby Heaney, Inook, Ismaël Joffroy Chandoutis, Markos Kay, Marc Lee, Rachel Maclean, Valentine Maurice, NeoConsortium, Obvious, Phygital Studio, Matthieu Poli, Kaspar Ravel, David Rokeby, Andy Thomas, Peter Van Haaften, Michael Montanaro and Garnet Willis, Éric Vernhes, Cecilie Waagner Falkenstrøm, Beatie Wolfe
