The 14th Salon officiel des Peintres de l'Air et de l'Espace - 2025 will focus on the theme of Liberation and Refoundation. Oil, watercolor, acrylic, ink, gouache, etc., between paintings and drawings (but also sculpture), you'll find what you're looking for in this exhibition held every two years at the Musée de l'Air.
The world of the artists will introduce you to forgotten aircraft, engines, propellers and unusual parts. It also takes you into space, before bringing you back down to earth to discover works that offer viewers a glimpse of today's aviation through canvases created at airports and airbases.
The "corps des peintres, graveurs et sculpteurs du département de l'Air" was created in 1931.Founded by the Aéro-Club de France, the Peintres de l'Air et de l'Espace (PAE ) network brings together some forty artists, ambassadors for aeronautics . artists, ambassadors for aeronautics and space, who illustrate the sublime idea that man once had of flying. Initially dedicated to painting (gouache, oil, watercolor), members - accredited for 3 years (renewable) or life tenure - now include photographers, draughtsmen, designers and sculptors, broadening the artistic horizons of this unique institution.
