As part of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Cultural Olympiad offers original programming combining art and sport, in the months leading up to the hosting of the sporting events. From summer 2022 to September 2024, numerous major events will bring together sport and culture in all the regions taking part in the adventure.
The Cultural Olympiad is an opportunity for many players to highlight the close links between art and sport. Among the projects awarded the Cultural Olympiad label are a number of local projects.

After several years of collecting songs from the people of Seine-Saint-Denis, the Sequenza 9-3 group is organizing concerts featuring polyphonic songs! Rendezvous in the department's parks and at the Philharmonie de Paris
In the parks, singing by some 640 amateur choristers accompanied by 12 professional soloists.
During this cantata evening at the Philharmonie de Paris, 800 adult and children choristers will create, alongside 12 professional soloists and an instrumental ensemble, an original cantata by Alexandros Markeas, conducted by Catherine Simonpietri. Singing outdoors and in the Salle Pierre Boulez.

Two apprentices from the École supérieure des Arts du cirque will take to the skies in the nave of the Basilica: rope climbing and balancing will allow you to admire their performance and the architecture of the site.
- In front of the basilica: a choreographic and acrobatic show by the MazelFreten company (10 first-year apprentices). Come and watch this hip hop electro urban dance show!
From April to early September, the Basilique Saint-Denis will host Sophie Comtet Kouyaté's photographic and textile installation La trêve. The models are residents of Saint-Denis and Aubervilliers and Olympic athletes. The photographic frescoes and monumental costumes are inspired by Ancient Greece at the time of the first Olympian games.
An event organized by the Salon du livre et de la presse jeunesse de Montreuil, the Literary Attraction Park, which takes place every year in the Parc Georges Valbon and on tour in the Ile-de-France region, has also been awarded the Cultural Olympiad label. This event takes place every year between the end of June and July.
Partir en livre, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, will be taking part in the Cultural Olympiad this summer, from June 19 to July 21, 2024, on the theme of Sport and Games.
From November 28, 2023 to April 26, 2024, Campus Condorcet will be hosting an exhibition on the militant figures of popular sport. The exhibition is accompanied by screenings, conferences and sports-related activities organized by the FSGT93.
The Shoah Memorial in Drancy looks back on 100 years of Olympic Games history with the exhibition Paris 1924-2024: The Olympic Games, mirror of society. The exhibition looks back at the 1936 Berlin Games, the athletes interned at Drancy and the sporting values that help to combat discrimination.
